What causes ship pollution
Ships are one of the major causes that have to do with marine pollution because they can pollute in so many ways. Oil spills are having terrible effects into the ocean.
Oil pollution consists of the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environments, especially in the ocean. Oil pollution is also considered as "Marine oil spills", where the oil is released into the ocean; this is one of the most common ways pollution occurs. There are many ways on how this oil gets into the ocean, and it’s all due to human activity. When people go through the ocean most of the time their tanks leak and they do not do anything to prevent these substances from leaking. Discharge from bulk carriers can pollute waterways, oceans and ports. Vessels intentionally discharge illegal waste even though such things are not supposed to happen. |
